Welcome to the Falcon Battalion

The Falcon Battalion is a Naval Junior (High School) ROTC cadet-run program that provides exceptional leadership training, discipline, academics, and physical guidance. The Falcon battalion displays a robust selection of cadets which of whom express outstanding qualities and traditions that are passed down to each new generation of cadets.

Challenges that we each face as cadets include standardized fitness tests, weekly personnel inspections,  and weekly physical training sessions. Cadets  familiarize  the elements of the NJROTC program with his or her daily life, such as good citizenship,  follower-ship  and responsibility to create a presence of quality leadership in his or her environment. 

Our program incorporates S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) programs and activities to further advance cadets to higher education; colleges and universities.

At FHS, we believe the key to success is acquired through hard work and dedication.

Our NJROTC program offers a tremendous number of opportunities to aid in the success for each and every cadet to follow their future dreams.

We're proud to say that our cadets have the lowest incidence of poor conduct on campus, and each of the cadets are provided with over 80 hours of community service opportunities each year. Our cadets consistently perform more community service hours than any other club.

 Our unit is sought after by local government, educational institutions, social events and other organizations and businesses.

We lead the path for others to follow  and welcome everyone to our program with open arms.
